I started this project longer ago than I care to admit, but I do plan on finishing it. When we were at Castle Air Force Base at B-52 Copilot (Bob Hamilton) and KC-135 Copilot (John Visser and I) training in 1978 we decided we would build VariEzes. I ordered my Plans from Rutan Aircraft Factory (RAF) and materials in 1980 and started work. This picture is from September 1992 in my garage in Pensacola. This airplane has traveled quite a bit and never been off the ground. I started building it in Altus, OK, it then went to St. Louis, MO then to Pensacola, FL and finally to Warner Robins, GA. I am thinking of flying it on a cross country to all these locations once I have complete the airplane and done my flight testing.
Here is the project in the boat stage
